Having begun the tradition in 1938, Ned & Bridie Langton ran a public house. The ‘original’ premises were a home from home for many, the boarding house above the pub was always busy, and many a person began their stay in Kilkenny as a guest of Ned & Bridie. The family tradition of a warm welcome into comfortable surroundings and a delicious and hearty meal began.
